Pascaline Doucin-Dahlke

Belle France... is a digital series about France that started in 2007. Pascaline took pictures of different places and digitally manipulated them. These photos were taken in Paris, Tours, Villandry, and Royaumont. Pascaline adoptes festive colors and chooses unique compositions to express her visual and emotional perception that has connected her to each place. It is the first time that she put these photographs together in a series that traverses many years.

Belle France… est une série digitale sur la France commencée en 2007. Pascaline prend des photographies de différents endroits puis les manipulent digitalement. Ces photos ont été prises à Paris, Tours, Villandry et Royaumont. Pascaline adopte des couleurs joyeuses et choisit des compositions uniques pour exprimer sa perception visuelle et émotionnelle qui la lie à un endroit choisi. C’est la première fois qu’elle rassemble ces impressions ensemble dans une série couvrant plusieurs années.

Pascaline Doucin-Dahlke is a French-American artist living in Los Angeles. She creates digital art, paintings, and installations. Her digital art has been included in different public art projects in Los Angeles.

Click on each image to see it full screen. All works are available for purchase for $150. Printed 16" x 20" and framed. Selection can be picked up at the office. In order to have reasonable prices, Pascaline will be printing these images on thick but non archival paper. In order to better preserve the prints, it is preferable to hang them on a wall with limited or soft light exposure.
