The Alliance Française de Pasadena offers high-quality private French lessons for adults, teens, and children at every level—from complete beginners to advanced speakers. Our one-on-one and semi-private French classes are taught by qualified, native French teachers who customize each lesson to match your goals, learning style, and pace.
Whether you want to learn French for travel, strengthen your professional French, prepare for an exam such as the TCF, DELF, or DALF, or explore specialized topics like French podcasting, our instructors will design a personalized curriculum just for you.
Private French lessons are available:
- In person at the Alliance Française de Pasadena
- Online via Zoom or another video-conferencing platform
This flexibility allows students to learn French wherever they are, while benefiting from the expertise of our native instructors.
Registration & Scheduling Policies
To register or renew a package of private French classes, please click the “Register for private classes” button on our website.
- Please renew or purchase additional hours at least 48 hours before your class. We cannot guarantee your scheduled session if payment is made with less notice.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or the full class fee will be charged.
- For the best learning experience, we recommend purchasing a package, which allows your instructor to build a coherent, customized syllabus.
A $50 administrative fee applies to all refund requests.
Exam Preparation – TCF, DELF, DALF
We offer personalized test preparation classes for the TCF, DELF, and DALF exams. Our certified instructors help students prepare thoroughly, but the Alliance Française cannot be held responsible if a candidate does not pass their exam.
Payment Information
There is a 3.5% non-refundable processing fee for credit card transactions.
You may avoid this fee by paying by check or cash (please do not mail cash).
