If your child is more than 7 and if they have already studied French, they can take the free placement test.

Our French programs for children are designed to ensure meaningful, age-appropriate learning. The Alliance Française de Pasadena offers a unique combination of educational expertise and cultural immersion:

Age-appropriate curriculum developed by specialists in French language education
Programs continually updated to reflect the latest research in child development and second-language acquisition
Regular assessments and open communication with parents to track progress and support your child’s learning journey
Official French testing center for DELF Prim, DELF Junior, and other exams, allowing your child to validate language competency with internationally recognized certifications

A $50 administrative fee applies to all refund requests.

All students must hold an annual membership, which covers all group class sessions and supports our mission as Pasadena’s French language and cultural center.

We are now enrolling for the SPRING 2026 session, taking place April 20- June 26, 2026 (10 weeks) - No class on Memorial Day.

Register before March 26 and receive 5% off tuition..

Books are available fo purchase at the Alliance Française de Pasadena but there is no obligation to buy them from us.
