Outreach We are actively engaged with many local public and private schools in the promotion of the study of the French language and culture. We administer competitions, set by the Federation of the Alliances Françaises, for students of these affiliated schools, with prizes ranging from valuable books to a paid roundtrip to France, including study at the Alliance Française in Paris. We set oral competitions for students of the affiliated schools, judging pronunciation, grammar, and fluency, with scholarships awarded to the top contestants. The best student of French in each affiliated school also receives a Medal from our Chapter.
